Cooking Tips

• Heat the pan slowly - pan that has been thoroughly heated through will hold its temperature better during the cooking process.
• Avoid cooking on highest heat. Medium or low heat is best for cooking because pans conduct heat very efficiently, but pans are safe to 500oF/ 260oC
• Cooking on high heat can also cause overheating, which happens when oil or fats get too hot, not the pot or pan. If the oil gets too hot, it can burn and stick to the nonstick coating, which then deteriorates over time.
• Pans are metal tool safe and may eventually show minor scuffs with regular metal tool use, but they will not scratch.
• NEVER use aerosol spray oil on SCANPAN cookware
