Class Description: Mastering basic knife skills is one of the most essential parts of cooking. Learn how to properly and safely handle sharp knives and consider which knife is needed for each job. We will also learn the basic cuts of vegetables such as carrots, onions (without tears) and celery root as well as some vegetable decorating techniques. These vegetables will be used to make a salad at the end of the evening.

About this Class: This is a participation-based class where you will be guided through the recipes by the chef, but you will be doing most of the work. These classes offer an in-depth study of chosen recipes using common foods found in a well-stocked pantry.
